In 2017, we live in a world that's full of emojis and abbreviations and as much as it is amusing and easy to get caught up in the new LOL or LMAO, it's taking away from the art of communication… literally. Don't get me wrong, it's clear as day that people have things to do throughout their days so generally, texting is the best way to communicate with friends, family, significant others (oh la la 😍) HOWEVER, I can not be the only person in the year 2017 who longs for a good phone call conversation or better yet face to face conversation over lunch or dinner or sitting in the house, on the couch talking. Seeing the emotions on someone's face, hearing the passion in their voice… something that's more memorable than a text message. Hmm, show me it's real and call me. Don't text me.
